Grand Hotel Palau

The location near the harbor made it easy to access boat tours to La Maddalena, which I really appreciated. My room included a nice balcony that offered beautiful views of the sea, perfect for enjoying morning coffee. The decor is charming and suits the relaxed vibe of the area. The shower door in my bathroom was broken upon arrival, a bit inconvenient. The noise insulation could be better since I could hear sounds from the hallway and nearby rooms. The breakfast options felt limited, though the pastries were fresh. The staff's service was decent, but interactions could have been warmer to enhance the stay. Parking was available outside, but I could see it getting busy during the peak season. A mix of great views and useful amenities but with some areas that need attention.

There were exceptionally comfortable beds and a safe box, central heating, and a work desk inside the room. The location was magnificent and lovely close to the port, very close to a port. Had supper enjoying drinks at nearby Rosso & Bianco.

1. Fine panoramic views, excellent room cleanliness, powerful shower experience

I recently enjoyed a stay for two nights in a Double Room Sea View while exploring nearby beaches and attractions. The view from the balcony was stunning, allowing us to watch the boats in the bay. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the comfortable beds. It was also nice that there was free parking available nearby.

The room was comfortable and clean, with a private balcony with a lovely view of the La Maddalena archipelago. The staff were attentive.

Wi-Fi was unreliable.

The room had amazing satellite programming for family movie nights. Our special needs son's autism support dog was warmly welcomed. We loved the beautiful sea view that allowed for some lovely sunset gazing.

My wife says that the showers could use some fixing.

We spent a lovely weekend in a top floor room with a balcony! The view was amazing over the harbour and we had a nice breakfast on a large terrace, plenty of options to choose from, I ordered an omelette and it was cooked perfectly.

It wasn't cheap, but it was worth the experience.

Amazing views and kind staff

The breakfast was served on a spacious terrace, and I was really impressed with the variety offered, especially the well-cooked omelette I ordered. The staff were helpful, especially Adil at the Front Desk. The room felt a bit cramped, and having a kettle would have been a nice touch.

Comfortable and clean room with an impressive balcony view of the surrounding islands. The location is convenient for accessing the harbor for boat tours. A lack of a fridge and trash bin in the room was a letdown, as was some minor noise from neighboring rooms.

The Grand Hotel features fine panoramic views from the rooms, complemented by asuper clean and cozy atmosphere. I appreciated the simple decor, which adds to the charm. The breakfast offered a decent variety, including freshly baked pastries. Plus, the hotel's proximity to the center of Palau allowed easy access to restaurants and the harbor.

The parking situation seemed limited.

Terrace views are fine and breakfast was great. Wi-Fi was spotty in our room.
